Overland Park Chiropractor | First Visit
On your initial exam the doctor will spend a significant amount of time talking to you trying to understand your condition, the severity, the timing, the effect on your life and the overall complexity of your condition. A thorough exam including spirometry, a computerized thermal scan of the spine, a postural analysis, range of motion tests, bi-lateral weight scales, palpation, orthopedic testing and if deemed necessary x-rays will be taken to ensure an accurate diagnosis.
The patient should plan on approximately an hour to complete the required paperwork and exam. If the condition is serious enough for x-rays to be taken, then the patient will be asked to return the following day to go over the results. The normal initial exam cost is $210 and includes x-rays.
